Enjoyed a visit with my "niece", Tricia and her two little ones, Aries and Alyster at Mt. Vernon. Aries blew me away with her knowledge of George Washington history! They are teaching them well in Virginia apparently! It was great to see them, last time was in Oregon in 2009. We won't wait so long to connect again.

Upon recommendation by our hotel, we found this great place! The food was fantastic! We have learned that asking the front desk where they recommend is really a good way to find these hidden gems.

Review: Motel 6 on Whitehall Road, Annapolis, Maryland is fantastic. Room is beautiful, clean, bedding is fluffy and fresh, pillows are some of the finest I've seen in a motel. WIFI is free. Free complimentary apple, orange juices and hot coffee 24/7. Free newspaper. The gal at the front desk was helpful and friendly, gave us a printout with directions to a restaurant she recommended. Complimentary Annapolis maps. On a scale of one to ten. This one is a ten!
