Day 18 - Indiana

Tuesday, August 18th, 2015
Teena and Bella are ready to hit the road. They seem to wonder
if we have become gypsies or are runnin' from the law. They
are so used to our daily routine that they jump when I even
just touch the leash. They are great travelin' doggies.
* Elizabethtown, KY to West Baden Springs, IN
*West Baden Springs Hotel

& French Lick Hotel and Casino, IN

(Find Pluto Water and Amish country/ craft stores)
A neat little train car
Saw this train car, but never did find any "Pluto water"
I stepped out to a "farmer's market" (there were only 3 crafter booths)
and Bella was concerned that Daddy left me behind and drove away
Basically all the diners in French Lick had closed or were out of business.
So, we decided to just see what we would find along our way and we
happened upon this little diner in Palmyra, Indiana. It had outside seating
so we were able to dine with our doggies as it was too hot to leave
them in the car. This place was like being served a yummy meal
by a friend. The servings were ample, the people were super friendly and
the prices were great! Finding places like these on the backroads are like
mining, you never know when you will find a little gem. It sure beats
the heck out of fast food!

*West Baden Springs, IN to Georgetown, IN
